The green smoothies include the mixing of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables to create delicious and nutritious drink. Caldwell said that the green smoothies provide the body with an extraordinary income of natural enzymes, chlorophyll and nutrients that provide new life and vitality.

According to the author the power of most people does not provide enough chlorophyll. Consumption of green smoothies, we can get blood cleansing, use of anti-inflammatory natural and stabilize blood sugar levels due to the effect of chlorophyll. Following these guidelines will decrease gradually the desire of sweet snacks and junk food and begin instead to naturally increase the desire for fresh fruits and vegetables.

Caldwell advises readers to take the green smoothies on an empty stomach, as well as general guidelines strongly recommend you to insert the green smoothies in a healthy and balanced diet. The dieters are encouraged to consume plenty of raw fruits and vegetables and supplementing the diet with whole foods and unprocessed dried fruits, vegetables and sprouted wheat bread.

In addition to consuming green smoothies, Caldwell recommended the consumption of tea for ‘high in antioxidants and its ability to accelerate the metabolism. You can choose between green tea, black tea or oolong tea according to personal preference.
The book also emphasizes the importance of psychological factors such as emotional balance, positive attitude and visualization in the creation of optimal well-being.

Among the foods recommended are: green smoothies, fruit, vegetables, sprouted wheat tortillas, bread Manna, pecans, walnuts, almonds, butter, salmon, tea, stevia.

In addition, Caldwell says that when you start drinking green smoothies you will have more energy and more motivation to get moving. The combination of green smoothies and exercise work together to relieve depression and create a new state of mind and a wonderful attitude that can improve all aspects of life.

Grapefruit Diet

The grapefruit diet offers a very low calorie diet,  approximately 800 calories, whose main food grapefruit, a fruit with fewer calories and low sodium.

This fruit besides having low calories is fiber, which causes the stomach feel full and not suffer too hungry.
