A great opportunity has presented itself to you. You have the chance to join with one of the top districts in the state. Prairie Eight District of Student Councils is inviting you to become a member! The activities that Prairie Eight sponsors help students gain insight into all aspects of student council events and programs. The students’ leadership and communication skills benefit greatly from the experiences we provide.
Through Prairie Eight activities, such as the Fall Workshop and Spring Convention your council can participate in the exchanging of ideas and learn many new things along with many other schools. In addition to that, there are leadership workshops provided to district schools that will give students practice to become better role models for their council and school. These events are a great way to meet new people and learn more about student councils from schools all over the district.
Your school can become a member of the Prairie Eight District of Student Councils today for the 2007-2008 school year for a membership fee of $25.00. This membership fee not only includes your membership to the Prairie Eight District of Student Councils, but also it includes payment for our district newsletter. This newsletter, The Prairie Eight Insider, will notify your council of all the various activities it can be a part of on the district and state student council levels. Enclosed is an application to become a member of the Prairie Eight District of Student Councils, please fill it out and return it with the $25.00 membership fee to myself by September 29th, 2007. I hope to hear from your school soon, and I hope to see your school active in our district!
