Grapefruit Diet
The grapefruit diet offers a very low calorie diet, approximately 800 calories, whose main food grapefruit, a fruit with fewer calories and low sodium.
This fruit besides having low calories is fiber, which causes the stomach feel full and not suffer too hungry.
Like other diets do not recommend following this diet for long because despite that helps you lose weight, not for complete nutrition, as it only provides a limited amount of nutrients to the body, and this is with few defenses against disease.
For this very reason it is recommended halting the grapefruit diet in period 1 to 2 weeks. Usually this diet causes a loss of 12 to 20 pounds.
Breakfast:
Half a grape
fruit with a sweetened infusion of herbs.
Lunch:
Half a grapefruit.
Two eggs or a piece of chicken, served with vegetables to taste, preferably green and tomato.
Dinner:
Half a grapefruit.
A salad of vegetables, preferably green, flavored with lemon and low sodium salt.
1 piece of meat or fish (not too large)
