Social Care Resumes

What are recruiters looking for when they hire a care worker or social care workers in the UK? The only thing its not is a poorly written CV or resume. The best jobs go to those who can showcase their experience and talents. While there are many care worker jobs to apply for online, some are much better than others. The CV or resume you upload speaks for you. You want it to say that you are a highly talented social care worker worthy of the best jobs.

Your CV should be focused. The recruiter should not have to guess at which type of job you are seeking. State you goal clearly. If you are going to apply for different types of jobs, have different types of CVs handy.

Your CV or resume should land you enough interviews as a care worker than you will be able to take the best job available. Since there are so many openings, if your resume is not getting you interviews, something is wrong.

Your CV should always be written in chronological order, with your last job at the top. Make sure you highlight any additional training and certifications that you have received. If you are new to the workforce, highlight your life experiences, such as raising children or caring for elderly parents.

Take your CV clues fro any interviews you receive. If recruiters are all asking you about a particular job or period of your life, you might not have been clear about it on your resume. A re-write is in order.
